A brand new website to cap off 2026 for ToddLawson.com

Kingsville, Ontario — October 29, 2026. I have had the same site built on WordPress for over a decade. It did an ok job, but was always needing updates, plugins, and was built with old tech that didn’t search well in our modern AI search world. It was time for an upgrade. What’s new

This new site not only shows my work better and is easier to update, it’s easier to navigate. And unlike the old site, much faster to load, better built, and not made with thousands of unnecessary files like heavy WordPress sites are. Here are some of the changes:

The work, collection by collection: Spirits, Theme Parks & Landmarks, Idols and Small Works, plus an archive of paintings exhibited since 2004.
What’s available, at a glance: every painting is marked available or sold, with works represented by Elaine Fleck Gallery linking straight to the gallery.
Commissions: a new page for collectors who want a place, an idol or a subject painted as an original work.
The work at home: photos of paintings hanging in collectors’ homes and in the gallery.

What’s next

The last year and a half has been a challenge personally for the Lawson family as we navigate a very scary illness. However there is light at the end of the tunnel for 2027. I’m starting to draw and dream again and hope to work on some new work in 2027. I am also always open to commissions if you like my work but want a specific place or nostalgic character or toy from your childhood painted for yourself or a gift.
