I've been struggling with the subject of my next painting lately. Feeling a bit stuck and too busy with other things to concentrate. And watching a lot of September Baseball. So I drew Mr. Met @n.y.mets . I'm more of a Detroit @tigers Fan or Cleveland @cleguardians fan, but MR Met is still the best mascot. #baseball #mlb #drawing #sketch #artwork #sketchbook

Finally got around to adding a figure to this small study oval panel I did while working on the 'Rock Beach' painting. I think I'm done...will sit with it another week before I varnish, frame and properly photograph it. "Rock Beach" is a two minute walk from my home in Kingsville Ontario. I'm happy with how it turned out. Day 7: was hoping to get two sessions in over this Canada Day weekend but lost track of the days so only got one day in. Day 3. One of the most challenging and rewarding painting sessions I've ever had. I was so intimidated by painting the waves of Lake Erie realistically that I painted a study at the same time on a smaller piece I had.
